From discovery to knowledge: our philosophy

From discovery to knowledge: our philosophy At the heart of our philosophy is surely the physical and inner well-being of the child, a synonym of serene growth. Creating environments where our little ones feel comfortable, understood, and especially listened to has always been our priority.

Il Castello is the school of doing, thinking, sharing, and feeling – to foster learning and memory, giving space to the potential and qualities of our students, to achieve healthy self-esteem and gradual autonomy.

SCHOOL & FAMILY TOGETHER FOR THE GROWTH OF THE LITTLE ONES

We believe in the bond and synergy with families. We believe in dialogue and the reciprocal exchange of ideas and good practices. Every day, we work to offer safe environments, thanks to reliable and competent educators, for a stimulating school that respects each child’s pace and needs.

Our goal is to provide families with seriousness and attentiveness, avoiding stressful situations and fostering a climate of peace and harmony, prioritizing children’s well-being. We also organize meetings and periodic events with families to create sharing moments and an effective support network through parenting workshops and consultations with psychologists, pediatricians, and other specialists

Our educational path is constructive, creative, and practical. We are inspired by the progressive school of John Dewey, the brilliant philosopher and pedagogue of the last century, who saw the student “with and active role” in their growth journey.

We use his Intelligent Method, which stimulates imagination, creativity, observation, and critical thinking. The goal is to strengthen life skills that help each child find the right resources in challenging situations, both in personal and social/professional life.

For this reason, we propose workshops in art, fairy tales, pet-harmony, music, science, botany, motor skills, taste, ethics, ateliers, all with precise settings to stimulate problem-solving activities.

From the Primary School transition, we also use Castello Bortolato’s Analogical Method, designed to help children learn with less effort and greater satisfaction, in an easy and immediate way, through specific tools that stimulate intelligent thinking and support logical-mathematical learning.

Do you want to know how we can support your child’s growth?

We offer a constructive, creative, and hands-on educational journey inspired by the principles of John Dewey’s Active School.

We strongly believe that every child has innate curiosity and a unique potential to explore.
